Business Links membership is ideal for established small- to medium-sized businesses that are serious about continued growth.

Start-ups may join provided they are led by experienced founders who are actively developing their business, evidenced by their engagement with a coach, mentor, or at the very least, following a strategic plan

Please note:  A once-off registration fee of R500 applies to all membership types.

CODE OF ETHICS

All members are required to uphold the Code of Ethics at all times to ensure the best business and collaboration opportunities possible.

1. I will conduct myself in a professional manner.
2. My business dealings will be conducted with honesty and integrity.

3. I will uphold the confidentiality of members and will not share privileged information unless expressly given permission to do so.

4. I will forge harmonious relationships based on mutual trust, respect and cooperation.

5. I will show an active interest in the other members and their businesses.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. There are 2 subscription time frames, namely, annually or 6-monthly.  
2. Members may terminate their membership at any time by providing at least one (1) month’s written notice to Business Links (Pty) Ltd.
3. Once the membership fee is paid, members can attend and take part in meetings, events, and other activities at discounted rates offered to members.
4. The Director of Business Links (Pty) Ltd may approve or decline any application for membership at their discretion. While decisions are made in good faith and in the best interests of the organisation and its members, the Director is not required to provide reasons for accepting or refusing an application.
5. Payment of the membership fee must be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT). 
6. In addition to membership fees, members are required to pay for meetings, events, workshops, outings or any other activities where third-party service providers charge fees (such as venues and catering).  Where these activities are also open to the public, members will receive a discounted rate.
7. Upon acceptance into Business Links, membership fees are non-refundable, as they are used to cover the operating costs of the organisation. If a member chooses not to continue, they may retain access to certain member benefits for a period of up to six (6) months, as determined by Business Links (Pty) Ltd.
8. Members are responsible for informing Business Links (Pty) Ltd in writing of any changes to their contact details or other relevant information, such as changes to address or telephone numbers.
9. Business Links (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to amend subscription rates and Terms & Conditions from time to time.
10. If a member is found to have acted in a way that breaches the Code of Ethics or Terms & Conditions of Business Links, or in a manner that has brought, or is likely to bring, Business Links, its business, or its members into disrepute, their membership may be terminated with immediate effect, acting in the best interests of the organisation.

PRIVACY POLICY

Business Links (Pty) Ltd processes Personal Information for various purposes including:

∙ Facilitating introductions with, and between, members

∙ Fulfilling its contractual obligations with its members, clients and suppliers

APPLICATION PROCESS

Step 1:

The Application is submitted. 

Please supply your business logo and a profile picture of yourself along with your application, or as soon as possible after submitting your application form.

Step 2:

Upon approval, an invoice will be issued.

Step 3:

Upon payment, your membership will be activated, allowing you to immediately participate in the various meetings, events, and activities offered by Business Links (Pty) Ltd.

DECLARATION

I hereby declare that all statements contained in this application are true and correct, and that any misrepresentation or false statement may be grounds for rejecting my application or, if discovered after my application has been accepted, subject me to immediate termination. 

ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE

By signing and submitting this application, you confirm that you have fully read and understood the Business Links Code of Ethics, and Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by the contents thereof.

You also confirm that you are legally authorized to represent the Company/Business/Organisation that you listed on page 1 of the application form.

I understand that an electronic signature has the same legal effect and can be enforced in the same way as a written signature.
